| "La Flor de Catemaco", founded in 1989 in Catemaco, covers approximately 160 hectares (395.37acres), consisting of: 90 hectares (222.39 acres) of palma camedor 45 hectares (111.20 acres) of helecho cuero 6 hectares (14.83 acres) of ornamental asparagus 11 hectares (27.18 acres) of ornamental pineapple Our processes of cultivation and post-cultivation makes the difference. From the initial planting, plant nutrition, plus insect and disease control are of prime importance. In this manner we can provide products of superior quality. Our care and supervision in all phases of production, from field to packing, are meticulous, resulting in a perishable product with a longer shelf life, and superior to those offered by our compeditors. We have the advantage of separate areas of production. If production and quality in one area are affected by adverse climate conditions, we can provide our products from an unaffected area, and in this manner guarantee supply and quality to our clients. |

| In May of this year three female and 2 male Howler Monkeys were released on the land belonging to La Flor de Catemaco. Attending the release were: professors, investigators, students, and employees of the Instituto de Neurotología of the Universidad Veracruzana, Biologist Daniel Hernández Berlín, Residente of PROFEPA in Catemaco and personnel of La Flor de Catemaco. There is now a population of 19 Howlers on the property. |
